The primary purpose of MVP Recovery’s Screening and Assessment Centers is to accurately evaluate the needs and circumstances of each individual seeking assistance.

The objectives include

Comprehensive Evaluation

Conduct thorough assessments to identify the extent of substance abuse or mental health issues, co-occurring disorders, medical history, and psychosocial factors.

Individualized Treatment Planning

Use assessment findings to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs, preferences, and goals.

Referral to Appropriate Services

Provide recommendations for the most suitable level of care and connect individuals with the appropriate resources, including detoxification programs, residential treatment, outpatient counseling, medication-assisted treatment, and support groups.

Engagement and Motivation

Foster a supportive and non-judgmental environment to encourage individuals to engage actively in the treatment process and commit to their recovery journey.

Intake Interview

Trained clinicians conduct in-depth interviews with individuals to gather information about their substance use history, mental health symptoms, social support network, family dynamics, employment status, legal issues, and other relevant factors.

Medical Evaluation

Assess the individual’s physical health and any medical conditions that may impact treatment, including infectious diseases, chronic pain, and medication management.

Psychological Assessment

Administer standardized assessments and screenings to evaluate the presence and severity of mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and personality disorders.

Substance Use Screening

Utilize validated tools to assess the patterns and severity of substance use, including frequency, quantity, duration, and consequences of use.

Co-Occurring Disorders

Identify any co-occurring mental health disorders or medical conditions that may complicate treatment or require specialized interventions.
